The Government is committed to ongoing monitoring and evaluation of its Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). It is currently developing the tools and approaches to undertake monitoring and evaluation activities. This includes consideration of approaches to assess the environmental impacts of FTAs.

The Department for International Trade will publish an ex-post evaluation for the UK-Australia agreement within 5 years of entry into force of the agreement.
