Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many instances of actual violence towards hon. Members have been reported in each month since June 2016.

The Home Office does not hold the requested data centrally. The Home Office collects data on the number of crimes recorded by the Police in England and Wales. It is not possible to identify from these data whether violent offences have involved Members of Parliament.
