Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether prescriptions for antidepressants, benzodiazepines and z drugs are recorded in (a) prisons, (b) care homes for the elderly (c) children's homes and (d) any other institutions.

The patient records for those living in those institutional settings should include a record of them having received prescriptions. However, this is information which is not collected and held centrally.
