Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment her Department has made of the reasons for the Office of the Immigration Service Commission paying only 57 per cent of undisputed invoices within five days in 2016-17; and what assessment she has made of the performance of that commission in respect of that target.

Office of Immigration Services Commissioner’s (OISC) reason for not achieving this target is set out on page 39 of their published annual report and accounts for 2016/17.

The performance of the OISC is reviewed regularly. The Home Office notes in particular the OISC’s commitment to pay invoices quickly and that 100% of undisputed invoices are paid within 30 days of receipt.
