The inhabited Overseas Territories are self-governing with locally elected representatives who lead on matters related to economic, industrial and environmental policy amongst others and who decide on which sectors to prioritise for development. The UK Government fully supports Overseas Territory Governments in their efforts to deliver sustainable economic and environmental development. This support is provided through financial aid for the three Overseas Territories that are eligible to receive Official Development Assistance as well as programmes funded by the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Global Britain Fund and the Darwin Plus grant scheme for which all Overseas Territories are eligible.
