Approved Premises: Crimes of Violence

Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many National Probation Service staff working in approved premises have been assaulted by residents in the most recent two years for which data is available.
This question was answered on 6th February 2018
There were 16 reported assaults on National Probation Service staff in Approved Premises in 2016 and eight in 2017.
The above data have been drawn from administrative data systems. Although care is taken when processing and analysing the returns, the detail collected is subject to the possibility of inaccuracy inherent in any large-scale recording system.
