Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, when his Department plans to inform the Mayoral Combined Authorities and Greater London Authority of their funding allocation for the devolution of the Adult Education Budget in 2019-20.

The budget for the further education and skills sector is confirmed annually prior to the start of the academic year. Officials are in communication with Mayoral Combined Authorities and the Greater London Authority, and will inform them of their indicative funding allocations for 2019-20 in spring 2018, with final allocations confirmed before the 2019-20 financial year.
