Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what estimate he has made of Carillion's remaining outstanding liabilities to the local government sector.

The Government has appointed an Official Receiver who has a duty to investigate generally the business, dealings, and affairs of the company.

In this role as liquidator, the Official Receiver is independent from government.
