Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, if he will provide a list of the local authorities contacted by his Department following the liquidation of Carillion plc; and on what dates those local authorities were so contacted.

Following the announcement of Carillion’s liquidation, the Local Government Association contacted all English local authorities with contracts with Carillion and has remained in regular contact with them since then.

We have been working closely with the Local Government Association to support this on-going engagement with the sector and the management of the impacts of the liquidation of Carillion.
