Community Orders: Females

Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, pursuant to the Answer of 8 January 2018 to Question 120661, on Community Orders: Females, how many women received a community sentence by status of (a) foreign national and (b) British national in each of the last five whole reporting years; and what the offence category for each of those nationalities was in that time period.

The Ministry of Justice Court Proceedings Database holds information on defendants proceeded against, found guilty and sentenced for criminal offences in England and Wales. This centrally held information does not include all the specific circumstances of each case, such as a defendant’s nationality. To collect and collate the information required would therefore incur a disproportionate cost.
