Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what recent discussions he has had with NHS England on commissioning the National Cancer Patient Experience Survey (a) in 2018 and (b) beyond 2018.
The Cancer Patient Experience Survey has been highly effective in measuring and driving improvement in patient experience across cancer care in England. Procurement for the next three survey waves, which cover the period April 2018 - August 2021, is due to commence imminently.
