Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many licences for the manufacture or supply of (a) benzodiazepines (b) z drugs and (c) antidepressants have been issued by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency in the last year.

The numbers of licences (marketing authorisations) for the manufacture or supply of benzodiazepines z drugs and antidepressants issued by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency in the last year (2017) are:
Benzodiazepines: six licences
Z-drugs: six licences
Antidepressants: 33 licences
