With a wide range of key stakeholders, we have developed a number of initial proposed changes to the National Health Service (NHS) contract for dentistry services, aimed at supporting NHS dentistry in the short term. We are currently negotiating these with the British Dental Association, and will set out an implementation timetable when negotiations conclude.

The development of further proposed changes for the longer term will be progressed over the summer and autumn of 2022.
