Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what additional funding or resources were provided to South Wales Police in connection with the hosting of the 2017 UEFA Champions League Final.
This question was answered on 21st December 2017
Ministers have agreed to provide £1.4m of Special Grant funding for the event. This follows an application from the Police and Crime Commissioner and a review by Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services.
