Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what information his Department holds on the number of children and young people who have been admitted to hospital on account of mental health problems since 2010.

The information requested is not collected. NHS Digital’s Hospital Episode Statistics database contains records of hospital episodes and attendances, but not of the number of people admitted.
