Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, if he will make an assessment of (a) the detrimental impact on the countryside and (b) the additional pressures on public services in Hatfield Peverel caused by development proposals when he considers the planning applications APP/Z2610/V/17/3180725, APP/Z2610/V/17/3180729 and APP/Z1510/W/16/3162004, called in for him to determine

As my Rt Hon Friend is aware, the planning inquiry into these proposals is scheduled to open on 12 December. It will consider all relevant matters and these will be taken fully into account by the Secretary of State on receipt of the Inspector’s report.
