Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what the ratio of health visitors to children is in each local authority area.

Data on the ratio of health visitors to children in each local authority area is not collected.
No national guidelines exist for size or ratio of health visitor caseloads as these will vary considerably over time and location in order to meet local circumstances, complexity of intervention and the needs of each individual family.
