Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, pursuant to the Answer of 17 November 2020 to Question 106468 on Coronavirus: Screening, if he will issue advice to people unable to obtain a covid-19 test while symptomatic but who subsequently test positive for covid-19 antibodies.

There is currently limited scientific evidence to link the presence of antibodies to immunity. In the event that a person received a positive antibody test, they must continue to take the necessary precautions and follow the local restrictions in their area to protect themselves and others from the virus.
