In line with Civil Service rules, the Department undertakes an annual review of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to ensure that it is an accountable, high-performing organisation, delivering value for money. It also regularly monitors the CMA’s progress against its business plan. The performance of the CMA is set out in its annual report and accounts which can be accessed on GOV.UK.
