Primary Education: Free School Meals

Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what her policy is on the continued provision of free school meals for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2; and if she will make a statement.
This question was answered on 15th October 2015
The continuation of universal infant free school meals was a commitment in the Conservative Party’s election manifesto. The government is currently conducting a Spending Review across all its programmes.
