The Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) will support the Industrial Strategy by enabling world-class R&D delivered in collaboration between researchers and business in key sectors across the economy to meet the major industrial and societal challenges of our time.

We have already launched the first wave of ISCF Challenges and will announce the next Wave of Challenges shortly. Projects are undertaken in different parts of the UK. They are independently assessed by UKRI and experts based on the quality and competitiveness of their innovation. More generally, addressing local and regional economic disparities will be a key theme of the Industrial Strategy White Paper.
