Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what the average age is of women who have submitted their oocytes for freezing in each of the last five years.
The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority has advised that the average age of women who have submitted their oocytes for freezing in each of the last five years is in the following table:

The data analysed looked at all cycles where the patient stored eggs for their own use.

2016 only covers the period up until 30 June which is the last date for which we have verified data
