Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what representations he has made to his Iranian counterpart on the case Nazanin Zahari-Ratcliffe since 4 November 2017; and if he will make a statement.

The Foreign Secretary has raised Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe's case with his Iranian counterpart multiple times since November 2016. Most recently on 7 November 2017 he spoke with Foreign Minister Zarif in a telephone call. I kindly refer the honourable member to the Hansard record of his speech on the Counter-Daesh update, which included a report of his discussion with Foreign Minister Zarif.
