Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what discussions he has had with the pharmaceutical industry on the cost effectiveness criteria for new treatments seeking breakthrough designation through the Accelerated Access Pathway.

Ministers and officials from the Department meet regularly with the pharmaceutical industry to discuss policy development and implementation. Engagement will continue on the implementation of the Accelerated Access pathway and criteria for breakthrough products.
