The report and recommendations of the Private Rented Sector Electrical Safety Standards Working Group has been published online at the link below:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/electrical-safety-standards-in-the-private-rented-sector-working-group-report

Members of the Working Group are listed in annex B of the report.

The Government will engage further with the sector to test the recommendations of the Working Group and ensure that any regulation introduced is balanced and works for both landlords and tenants, The Government plans to consult in the new year.

A copy of the report will be placed in the Library of the House.
