The Prime Minster recently announced the official theme for the 2018 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting – 'Towards a Common Future' – and the four key goals which were agreed at a meeting of Commonwealth Foreign Ministers: to build a fairer, more prosperous, more secure and more sustainable future for all Commonwealth citizens.

We are currently in the process of engaging with the Commonwealth Secretariat, other member states and organisations from across the Commonwealth to agree the agenda for next year's Heads of Government meeting. The Government remains committed to supporting the most marginalised in society and tackling mental illness.
