Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many passport applications from residents of the Republic of Ireland were processed through the Belfast Passport Office in each year since 2012.
The table below provides the volume of UK passport applications from residents of the Republic of Ireland that were processed by the passport office in Belfast in each financial year from 2014/15 to 2016/17.

I refer the Hon. Member to the answer given on 7 December 2015, UIN 18581, which confirms why Her Majesty’s Passport Office is not able to provide data prior to 2014/15.
