Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether he plans to publish additional guidance for dental professionals on (a) the resumption of a full service and (b) how to handle fallow times.

NHS England and NHS Improvement provides guidance which is updated as needed for dentists holding National Health Service contracts on the modified contractual requirements during the ongoing pandemic. Since 8 June, routine NHS dentistry has resumed with the full range of services available. The availability of appointments is however greatly reduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, largely due to the need for fallow times.
