Higher education providers have a duty of care to provide practical support to students during self-isolation and we are continuing to work closely with the Department for Education to help meet student needs.

This includes ensuring that students with cystic fibrosis or other long-term health conditions who are required to self-isolate have the right access to additional support from their university or National Health Service volunteers to access food or medical provision.
