To ask Her Majesty's Government when they expect to conclude their investigation into allegations of bullying of officials by the Home Secretary; and when the report of that investigation will be published.

To protect the interests of all involved the Government does not comment on the specifics of ongoing process.

The Prime Minister will make any decision on the matter public once the process has concluded.

Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether any Orders in Council have been made which give authority to special advisers to instruct civil servants.

Her Majesty’s Government can confirm no such orders have been made. In accordance with the Special Adviser Code of Conduct, special advisers must not exercise any power in relation to the management of any part of the Civil Service, except in relation to another special adviser.
