Alex Davies-Jones (Labour - Pontypridd)
Question
to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what plans his Department has to (a) increase capacity for outpatient diagnostic services for menstrual and reproductive health conditions and (b) introduce women’s health hubs to improve access to those services.
Answered by Maria Caulfield
There are no current plans to do so. The provision of local health services available to patients, including women’s health hubs, is a matter for clinical commissioning groups, which have a statutory responsibility to commission healthcare services that meet the needs of their whole population.

Research from Bliss suggests that every year more than 100,000 babies in this country are born needing neonatal care. Many of them will be like mine and will spend many weeks—even months—in neonatal care. As we all know, some …..."Alex Davies-Jones - View Speech
