When I buy a toy I want to make an informed choice and buy the most eco-friendly toys. Sometimes toys have excessive plastic packaging and only last 5 minutes before they break and go into landfill as they can’t be recycled. An environmental rating could help people make more eco-friendly purchases.

It will cost tens of billions to make electricity production carbon-neutral, but the current national grid is inefficient, with 8-10% of energy lost in distribution or transmission.
The Government should instead fund resident-owned renewable energy grids across the country. Power to the people.

Establish an enquiry into energy companies service and the redress that is available to the ordinary customer. At present the power is totally with the energy companies who operate a war of attrition against their customers. The ombudsman’s remit should be changed so they have more powers.
