Every year fireworks are set off unnecessarily.
Fireworks are a nuisance to the public. They scare animals, young children and people with a phobia.
They injure thousands of people every year.
They cause damage to buildings, vehicles,emergancy vehicles etc.
Lastly Kids are STILL being sold them.

Government takes the issue of safety of fireworks very seriously. Legislation is in place to control their sale, use and misuse. We have no plans to change legislation.

Shale gas could provide a new domestic source of gas, reducing our need for imports, and providing local jobs. There are robust regulations in place to ensure it is extracted safely.

Fireworks cause alarm, distress and anxiety to many people and animals. We call on the Secretary of State to make appropriate provision to secure that the risk of public use is the MINIMUM that is compatible with fireworks being used, as stated in Fireworks Act 2003 sect 2.

The Good Work Plan is the largest upgrade in worker rights in over a generation. We are raising the NLW to £8.21 per hour, making full-time workers on the NLW more than £2750 better off over the year.

Government monitors fuel prices and both rises and falls in crude oil price reach the pumps within 7 weeks. A competitive market is the best way to keep prices low; a new regulator is not necessary.

21m+ are unable to celebrate Christmas because of new C-19 restrictions. Many are restricted to the statutory minimum for holidays plus bank holidays. As the holidays for Christmas & NYE will be wasted in 2020 defer them to summer 2021 when people can enjoy that time with their families.

It should be mandatory to display warnings at entrances of venues or businesses that have strobe/flashing lighting. Businesses should also be required put information about the use of lighting at any addresses they are responsible for on their websites.

Umbrella companies must be banned as the care for workers is being further broken down amongst parties within the supply chain. This could help to ensure that employers continue to assume full responsibility for workers. This could also help to ensure that pay rates are inclusive of all deductions.
